What is a green home? The concept of “green” building continues to take root in the industry—and it may yet become mainstream—but what is it? Is it all about energy efficiency and bamboo floors or is there more to it? Come find out what truly makes a home green. The course chronicles the journey from idea to reality of a national award- winning deep-green demonstration home. The curriculum provides a snapshot of residential green building concepts that include rating systems, design, materials, and energy, water, and resource efficiency.

About the Instructor: Dave Porter is Sales Manager at loanDepot, serving Washington and Oregon. He has been in the real estate and mortgage banking industries for more than 35 years.
